  1. WHAT IS CIPFA?
    World's ONLY accountancy body dedicated to Public Finance. After qualification you get CPFA - Chartered Public Finance Accountant designation. Equivalent to Master's Degree Level 7 in UK

  2. ELIGIBILITY

  • Minimum: 3 GCSEs (Grade A-C / 4 & up) + 2 A-Levels (Grade A-C) including Maths & English Indian Equivalent: 10+2 with Maths & English.
  • Graduate Entry Route: Any University Degree holder can directly apply for CPFA status
  • Mature Student Route: If you don't meet academic criteria but you are 21+ with 3 years relevant work experience + employer support, you can still study.
  • Exemption: CA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW members get exemptions.

    Stage 1 - Certificate (Foundation):

Stage 3 - Advanced Diploma:

Exam Type: 60 Marks MCQs + 40 Marks Short Answer/Essay + Financial Statements. 120 to 180 mins per paper. Pass Mark 50%

  • Duration to Complete: 2.5 to 4 years (flexible)
  1. DIFFICULTY LEVEL & GRADING
  • Difficulty: Moderate to High. Theoretical + Practical Case Study. Audit & Assurance is lowest pass rate ∼46%, while Financial Accounting / Management Accounting pass rate 92-95%
  • Grading: 50% Pass Mark per paper. No negative marking. Result with detailed mark sheet.
  • Passing Criteria: Must pass all 12 papers + 3 Years Practical Experience (Workplace Evidence) to get CPFA designation.
